The Retail Customer Service Supervisor at PetSmart is a full-time opportunity with weekly pay. This position is a leadership-focused role responsible for driving exceptional service in the store. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Retail Customer Service Supervisor, you’ll spend your days ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Expect to lead associates through coaching and training, delegate daily tasks, and take charge when acting as the Leader on Duty. You’ll interact with pet parents in person, on the phone, and online, helping them find products, navigate store events, or complete services like adoptions or online order pickups.
You are also accountable for maintaining store standards in safety and cleanliness. Handling live animal sales, supporting various departments, and backing up POS operations—including cash handling—are part of your general duties. Importantly, you’re empowered to respond to incidents, such as a sick pet, and act decisively to keep animals and people safe.
Along the way, you’ll help manage inventory cycles, assist in marketing store events, and serve as a crucial link between the store and its community. Your leadership will shine as you mentor staff, cultivate a positive environment, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
