Physical Therapist
Join a collaborative team, earn a competitive salary, enjoy flexible scheduling and excellent health benefits. Ideal for candidates with PT degree and Maryland license.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
In this full-time role, you will deliver personalised physical therapy services directly to patients. You’ll focus on one-on-one care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Your main duties include clinical assessments, providing up-to-date therapy techniques, and participating in team-based patient care programmes. Autonomy in treatment planning is emphasised.
The position requires maintaining current patient records and occasionally conducting in-services for staff and external groups. Flexible scheduling is a valuable aspect for work-life balance.
This role is best for licensed professionals with active CPR credentials and at least one year of clinical experience. Home care experience is strongly preferred.
Standard working hours are day shifts, offering stability and predictability alongside a salary estimated between $70,000 and $100,000 a year.
Key Benefits
Employees receive comprehensive health cover including medical, dental, and vision insurance. A 403B savings plan with employer contributions adds to long-term security.
Generous paid time off and holidays help staff maintain work-life balance. Tuition assistance is also available for you and your dependents.
You’ll have access to professional growth opportunities such as workshops, in-services, and advanced training in the field of physical therapy.
A supportive management and leadership team consistently advocate for your success and value your contributions across the organisation.
Refer-a-friend incentives, wellness programmes, and a collaborative team culture are active parts of your employment experience.
Possible Downsides
This position does not support remote work or a home office arrangement, so you will need to provide in-person care exclusively.
Holding an active PT license in Maryland and a current driver’s license is mandatory, which may limit eligibility for non-local candidates.
While flexible, the role does demand adherence to a day-shift, full-time schedule, making it less suitable for those seeking part-time work.
The emphasis on teamwork means that fierce independence might not be an ideal fit for this collaborative environment.
Clinical demands may require staying updated with evolving therapy techniques, which can be challenging if professional development isn’t a priority for you.
Verdict
If you’re a compassionate and motivated physical therapist with strong clinical skills and a passion for patient-centred care, this job is a standout opportunity.
It combines an attractive salary, powerful benefits, career development possibilities, and a supportive culture. The drawbacks centre on location and licensing, but the advantages are notable for the right candidate.
For healthcare professionals seeking stability, personal growth, and genuine impact, this is a role well worth applying for.
