What Does a Behavioral Technician Do?

The main focus of this role is supporting children with autism through ABA-based therapy. You will work directly with young clients, delivering one-on-one sessions in a clinic environment.

The workday includes implementing personalized treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Recording client progress and behaviors is part of the daily routine.

Expect a collaborative setting—working closely with BCBAs, clinicians, and other technicians. There’s also a strong emphasis on team communication and ongoing learning.

Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for therapy is essential for both staff and clients. Active participation in regular training is required as well.
