Day-To-Day Responsibilities
As a Credentialing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for overseeing provider enrollment and credentialing. You’ll help ensure providers are properly qualified for timely reimbursements.
Your main tasks involve maintaining and auditing records, processing applications, and managing provider contracts. Regular communication with payors and internal teams is key.
You’ll also support HR with provider onboarding and assist with out-of-state Medicaid enrollments. Timely provider issue resolution is central to this role.
Tracking revalidation applications and supporting regulatory compliance will be required. Electronic medical records familiarity is a plus for daily efficiency.
Communication, organization, and attention to detail drive your ability to support providers and ultimately impact access to care for children.
