Day-to-Day Responsibilities and Role Details
As CEO, you will translate strategic goals into operational plans, lead budgeting, and ensure sustainability for the organization. A major aspect of this role is influencing public policy and expanding CPHR Canada’s reputation nationally and internationally.
You’ll support and work directly with the Board of Directors, act as the main spokesperson, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government, businesses, and Indigenous communities. Maintaining ethical and human-focused leadership is also crucial to the role.
Expect to optimize day-to-day operations and internal processes. Other key functions include driving revenue diversification, risk management, and advancing CPHR’s national profile.
Most activity will require travel (about 10–25% of your time) to engage in meetings, forums, and advocacy events. Remote work is available within Canada, providing some flexibility in your day-to-day schedule.
