What You’ll Do Day-to-Day
As an Instrument Technician, you’ll handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and control systems in a technically demanding workplace.
Your tasks will include calibrating and commissioning industrial instruments, monitoring processes, programming and upgrading controller systems, and documenting all work for regulatory compliance and team coordination.
Duties also extend to preventive and predictive maintenance, ensuring vital infrastructure stays operational, and participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency response.
You’ll be an integral team member providing expertise on process control, supporting continuous environmental operations, and occasionally leading others and reviewing their work for safety and quality.
All applicants must have licensure as a Limited Energy Class A or B electrician (or higher), a valid driver’s license, and a demonstrated ability in technical communication and teamwork.
