Behavioral Technician
Become a Behavioral Technician: entry-level, paid ABA therapy training, clear promotion path, up to $3,500 sign-on bonus, strong benefits, and a supportive team environment.
Behavioral Innovations is offering a full-time Behavioral Technician role. Entry-level hourly pay begins at $18.00 with paid training, and the position includes a sign-on bonus of up to $3,500. If you’re new to the field or seeking growth, this opportunity features a structured career ladder, certification support, and a variety of benefits.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities
Your main focus is providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 18 months to 10 years. You will implement treatment plans, collect behavioral data, encourage communication, and help foster essential social skills under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
Job duties also include maintaining a safe environment and participating in regular supervision and team meetings. With paid training included, you are set up for success regardless of your prior experience.
The team-oriented environment allows you to collaborate, learn, and develop new skills. There is a clear path for advancement, with the potential to move from intern to clinical leadership roles.
The job requires close attention to details, following procedures, and ensuring a supportive experience for each child and family you serve.
Pros of the Role
One standout benefit is the extensive training and career support offered. If you don’t already have RBT certification, you’ll have guidance to get certified within 60 days. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with tuition reimbursement, sweeten the package for career-minded individuals.
Additionally, the positive, people-first culture means you’re joining a team that cares deeply about both clients and staff. Growth, respect, and collaboration are all part of the work environment.
Cons to Consider
The role is highly structured and data-driven, which may not fit those seeking a creative workspace without procedures and protocols. You’ll also need reliable transportation each day to the clinic, as remote work is not an option.
Finally, the emotionally demanding nature of working with children on the autism spectrum requires patience, consistency, and resilience, so personal alignment with the mission is essential.
Verdict
Behavioral Innovations’ Behavioral Technician role offers hands-on experience, clear growth tracks, industry-recognized training, and a strong professional community. If you’re motivated to help children and ready for structured, meaningful work, this job stands as a promising start to a rewarding career.
