Daily Responsibilities and Job Details

In this role, you work overnight shifts from 9:00pm to 9:00am, caring for one client at a time in their home for truly focused nursing. Required are current RPN accreditation, registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s licence.

You’ll independently manage medication, health monitoring, and provide companionship, ensuring both safety and health outcomes. There’s a requirement for physical fitness, as lifting, climbing stairs, and frequent movement are involved.

Strong communication and organizational skills are crucial as you coordinate with the greater SE Health team and document care activities on mobile devices provided by your employer. You’ll act with empathy, handle conflict resolution, and make meaningful connections with clients.
